Opening Day 4/27/19 Schedule of Events

Opening Day will be this Saturday, April 27th. Please have your children dressed in their full uniform and dropped off at the East Brooklyn Fire Department (behind the Ice Box) by 8:45. We will be starting our parade down South St promptly at 9am.

The schedule of events that day will be as follows:
-8:45 – Player arrival at the East Brooklyn Fire Department
-9:00 – Parade
-9:30 – Ceremony
-10:15 - A Field - Tee Ball Round Robin, each team plays each other, one inning each
-10:15 - B Field - Coach Pitch Game (2/3 innings)
-11:00 – A & B Field – Pitch Hit and Run Competition

These are all tentative times but I hope to keep the day running on time. Following the ceremony, and throughout the morning, we will have donuts for all the kids available at the concession stand and coffee for the adults, provided by Baker's Dozen.

The pitch, hit and run competition is for boys and girls ages 8 and up (as of July 17, 2019). There are different age groups for the competition, each child will get 6 pitches, two attempts hitting and one attempt running. The winners advance to the state sectional competition.
